Dear ACA Community,
Almost there! Time to wrap up home studies and classes and bring on summer!
Great news…if you made any adjustments to your schedule, your revised schedule will be with your ES next week. Kind of amazing, but I’m happy to report that nearly everyone got the adjustments they requested! If you have an allotment balance and want to apply it to adding a class, fill out the form below and get your ES signature. If you want to add a class and pay out of pocket, you don’t need an ES signature. The form can be dropped off in the office or emailed to ShallonSmith@aca.k12.or.us LINKUP FORM due May 29th.
There is still space for students to sign up for the Tuesday afternoon 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. Stop by Mr. Holland’s cubicle and sign up your team. Remember, each team has to have at least one middle school aged member. This is a really fun event!
High School Students…Mrs. Pen, Ms. Katie, and Mrs. Best are offering three mornings of Academic Support June 2, 3, and 4 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Your ES can get you registered.
The last day of classes, Thursday, May 29, come prepared with a towel to enjoy an outdoor end-of-year water squirter battle from 3:30 to 4:30. For those who prefer to stay dry, enjoy the play structure, four-square and volleyball. So far, the long range weather forecast looks promising!
Join me in thanking our very special 24-25 PTO members for the most wonderful year! Kate Hansen, Lauree Ortman, Jana Holland and Rachael Guenther have volunteered uncountable hours to ACA. They’ve spread joy and kindness in their many acts of service to our staff, students, and families.
And speaking of volunteers, many of you stepped up this year to support ACA in large and small ways. This program has lots of moving parts, and staff alone cannot keep the wheels turning. Thank you for your time, sharing your talents, and modeling Community Service to our students. Your actions demonstrate to our kids, ‘You’re worth it!’ Pretty please remember to log your Volunteer hours HERE no matter how large or small! This data is valuable in many ways!
The Graduation Committee and the Class of 2025 could use a few more hands to pull off the ceremony on Saturday, June 7th. Graduation Tasks Sign Up And remember to get your Yearbook order placed soon…the flyer is below!
And from our Amazing PTO: Happy May, ACA!
