Dear ACA Community,
To all who showed love to the staff this week, thank you! We had lovely homemade lunches, coffee, pastries, Italian sodas, and snacks all week. We appreciate everyone who made the week so meaningful!
Wondering about weekend plans? Come and enjoy ACA’s thespians in their production of C.I.A. - Communism, Investigation & Allegations. There will be three performances, tonight at 6:00pm and Saturday at 3:00 and 6:00pm. Admission is $3 for ACA students and $5 for guests. The students have worked up to this all year and are very excited! Thank you to our wonderful Mrs. Carruthers for the long hours in support of the show!
If any student or staff did not get their photo taken at ACA in the fall, you can submit a photo directly to Mrs. Holland and the Yearbook Class at JanaHolland@aca.k12.or.us Here are the guidelines:
1. Show head and shoulders.
2. Photo of the student only (no group shots).
3. Plain color image (no black and white, or other, photos).
4. No hand signs or gestures.
5. Vertical photo only.
6. Name picture file with first and last name of student.
The internal posting for a Curriculum Room Assistant is live on the website HERE The position will close on Monday, May 12, so if you are interested, click the link and let us know!
Stronger Oregon is offering therapy services on-site at ACA all day Wednesdays at no charge to our families. If your student might benefit from this service, please ask your ES for a referral. If services are initiated now, they can continue through the summer!
Our epic Spring Music Concerts take place next weekend! This is a reminder that we will be collecting cash and check donations to the Dirks Music Scholarship fund during the shows. This scholarship has been funding music education for ACA students for many years and your donations are greatly appreciated! Also, we are still in need of many volunteers for next weekend’s music concerts. If you have a music student, please contribute a little bit of time to make the shows run smoothly. The musicians have worked really hard to prepare! Spring Music Volunteer List

Gentle Reminder(s): Although on-site classes are held Monday through Thursday, remember that Fridays are for home studies, class homework, and C4P work. With less than three weeks until the end of the year, let’s finish strong! Also, it would be great if everyone can help with returning the playground balls back to the cart each day. The cart lives inside of the doors by the reading room.
A very important way to serve ACA is by joining our School Board. Please consider applying for a two year term. Here is the link to the APPLICATION. The deadline to apply is May 14th.
And from our wonderful PTO:
5/15 -- Next Week is Dollar Pizza Day!! Because of course we're going to celebrate National Pizza Party Day!
Pizza Pre-Orders LINK or any time at the PTO desk. Cutoff is Tuesday 5/13 for pizza on 5/15. We will have limited extras available, but please make sure to pre order in order to guarantee your order.
5/28 4-8pm PTO Fundraiser @ Mike's Drive-In
25% of proceeds go to PTO for programs and activities next year.
5/27, 5/28, 5/29 PTO Bake Sale we would love it if you could bring in some treats for the last week of school. This is especially helpful because as we head into summer, we may not have a lot of options at the food corner.
**Speaking of, please make sure to use your prepaid tabs.
Thank you for your understanding!
As we reach the end of our fiscal year, every dollar will make a difference! Thank you for your continued support.
