It must be Spring at ACA! Check out the Calendar, which is full of back-to-back exciting events and field trips.

Last month I asked for volunteers to help with installation of our donated flags. ACA parent Jon Bonforte stepped up and an outdoor flag is flying again! Jon purchased and installed new outdoor spotlights and a flagpole lockbox, spending his own free time on the project. Thank you to the Bonforte family for your kindness! We still have one more flag to install on the wall in the gym. If anyone has a bit of time to give, and an extension ladder, please email me.

You know how ACA is very well respected for having a phenomenal music program? The Music Department is presenting two Interactive Music Assemblies, Thursday, April 11 at 11:00am & 1:45pm. These will feature orchestras, bands, and choirs (about 65 students).  The audience will have a chance to interact closely with the ensembles, and all the groups will join together for a big finish!

And another fun event…ACA Student Leadership is holding a fundraising event for prom. Have you ever wanted to shove a plate full of whipped cream into your teacher's face? Well, Leadership is giving you that opportunity! If you want to pie a staff member in the face with a plate full of whipped cream, purchase a raffle ticket in the office between April 1st and April 18th. Your ticket will be applied for a chance to pie the staff member of your choice. Ticket sales are unlimited, so you have the opportunity to pie multiple staff members, or increase your odds of pieing a specific staff member. Raffle tickets will sell for $3 per ticket, $5 for 2 tickets, and $10 for five tickets. Staff members will be pie-d the week of April 21st-25th during lunch.

Read-A-Thon is wrapping up next week! There are still a few days left to meet your reading goals. Thank you, PTO, for putting on an amazing fundraiser for our playground! If you are able to help with collecting packets and handing out prizes, please sign up for a time slot here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E44AFA92EA1FFCE9-48681302-readathon#/

A reminder, here’s the link to order pizza for Thursday https://forms.gle/CHevG9ATHZ6TmUD86 Order by Tuesday at 4:00pm!
